About Kevin:
Residing in Bloomingdale with his wife, Nicole, and their two children, Kevin is not just a 6th Generation Washingtonian but also an entrepreneur and community advocate. Founding both Rapp Distribution Company in 2016 and the DC based local non-profit, Bike to the Beach in 2007, he's committed to revitalizing our neighborhoods.
Kevin's family has a longstanding tradition of public service in Washington, D.C., dating back generations. His great-great-great-grandfather, William, served as a Second Lieutenant in the Union Army's 5th District of Columbia Infantry Battalion. Continuing the legacy, his great-grandfather, Thomas, provided essential services to Capitol Hill through his horse-drawn milk delivery business.

Firm on effective results rather than mere appearances, Kevin is committed to a comprehensive crime reduction strategy. This includes overhauling our forensic crime lab and call centers, modernizing outdated systems, and ensuring that our police are fully authorized and supported to take decisive action.
Under his leadership, community support systems will also be strengthened and restrategized, recognizing their crucial role in preventing crime and maintaining public safety. With these changes, the presence of violent criminals on our streets will be significantly reduced, making safety a concrete achievement for our community.

He is dedicated to supporting single parents with substantial resources and assistance. Recognizing the urgent need for more school counselors, Kevin plans to consolidate resources to guarantee every child fair access.
He believes teachers should have the best possible conditions to excel and inspire. Together, we can transform education into a vibrant, inclusive arena where every student succeeds.

He's deeply invested in transformative projects like the McMillan Development and champions healthy sustainable urban living - not only advocating for it but also embodying it through his his commitment to public transportation, fitness and healthy lifestyle choices.
